Specialist Deputy Assistant Chief State Solicitor: Conveyancing and Commercial Conveyancing Law

The successful candidate will have legal, managerial and operational responsibilities in the State Property Division in the Office. S/he will be enrolled as a Solicitor in the State and will have a minimum of seven years relevant experience as a practicing solicitor in the State as well as significant conveyancing experience including commercial conveyancing law experience.

Working in the CSSO

The CSSO comprises principally solicitors, legal executives and administrative staff.

Entry to the Professional stream is at Solicitor level. Candidates must be enrolled as a solicitor in the State or expect to be enrolled or qualified in the State on or before a specific date. Entry to the Technical stream is at Legal Executive level. Candidates are required to have at least two years experience on legal duties in a solicitor's office and hold an approved diploma in legal studies.

Entry to the Administrative/ Clerical stream is at the general civil service recruitment grades of Clerical Officer or Executive Officer.
